4-year-old killed by aunt, godman performing ‘black magic’ rituals in UP’s Bareilly | Bareilly News – Times of India

BAREILLY: A four-year-old girl was allegedly killed by her aunt and a godman as part of black magic rituals in Shikarpur Chaudhary village. The police have arrested both individuals.
The incident came to light after the family of the child, Misty, reported her missing on Saturday at the Izzat Nagar police station. Misty‘s activities were last seen around her home before she went missing.
Upon investigating, the police found the behavior of her aunt, Savitri, suspicious as she refused to allow anyone to enter her home. Utilizing CCTV footage from the area, the police conducted a raid at Savitri‘s residence and discovered the child’s body hidden in a sack near a borewell.
Senior Superintendent of Police Anurag Arya stated, “Initial investigations suggested that the murder was motivated by black magic rituals performed by Savitri and her relative Ganga Ram who is a ‘godman’. The duo, believed to be involved in occult practices, allegedly sacrificed the innocent child as part of their dark rituals.”
The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and police have launched a detailed probe into the matter.
