NEW DELHI: Ravi Gangadhar Rana of the Rashtriya Yuva Swabhiman Party, and husband of BJP leader Navneet Rana, is leading in the Badnera constituency with a commanding margin of 54,514 votes. After 19 rounds of counting, Rana has secured 97,839 votes.
Independent candidate Band Priti Sanjay trails in second place with 43,325 votes, while Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Kharate Sunil Baldeorao lags far behind, managing only 5,630 votes.

Badnera Assembly constituency is one of 288 seats in the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha. It is a General category assembly seat.
Badnera is a part of the Amravati Lok Sabha constituency along with five other Vidhan Sabha assembly constituencies, viz. Amravati, Teosa, Daryapur (SC), Melghat (ST) and Achalpur.
In the 2019 elections, an Independent secured a win in Badnera Assembly constituency. Ravi Rana won with 90,460 votes, defeating Band Priti Sanjay of SHS party with a margin of 15,541 votes. Badnera is a stronghold of Ravi Rana, who has held power in the constituency since 2009.
According to the last Census conducted in 2011, Badnera had population of 6,47,057. SC voters at Badnera assembly are approximately 93,540, which is around 26.36%, as per 2011 Census.
