Nike and a Mexican football (soccer) club called Club Deportivo Guadalajara — also known as Chivas de Guadalajara — have just shown off the team’s brand-new Home and Away shirts (the clothes players wear in matches).
This is the first time we see their new partnership on the field, and it starts a fresh chapter in something the club calls Futuro Sagrado (which means “Sacred Future” — a fancy way of saying their big plan for what’s next).
After announcing they would work together for several years, Nike and Chivas are celebrating one of football’s most famous team identities.
Important: This collection sets the visual style (how the team looks) for the next era of Chivas de Guadalajara.
The Home kit goes back to the club’s true self with a clean and timeless style.
A cool throwback detail:

The Away kit is like a younger, modern sibling to the Home shirt.
Together:

Beyond the shirts, Nike and the club made new visuals just for this team:
The kits also keep club-specific details and old identity elements that link the team, the city, and the supporters — making sure everything stays connected to Chivas culture and history.
Player Quote:
“This jersey honors the history that brought us here and the future we’re determined to build. Every time we step onto the pitch, we represent millions of Chivas supporters around the world, and wearing this kit for the first time makes that responsibility even more meaningful.” – Armando González
The shirts aren’t just pretty — they help players stay cool!
The Home and Away kits are the creative starting point of the Nike–Chivas partnership. They balance:
As the first kits of a new era, they begin the club’s Futuro Sagrado on and off the pitch.
Important: The journey starts July 18, when Chivas debuts the Nike kits in their first men’s Mexican league match of the season.
Player Quote:
“Every time you put on this crest, you feel the responsibility and pride that come with representing Chivas de Guadalajara. That’s what I thought about when I saw this jersey for the first time. It’s a beautiful kit, and I’m excited for our fans to make it their own as we continue building new memories together.” – Alicia Cervantes
Here’s the simple release plan:

Nike and Chivas de Guadalajara launched their first Home and Away kits together. The Home kit is classic with five red stripes and a returning polo collar. The Away kit is modern with a white base and red-blue gradient. Both use Nike Aero-FIT cooling tech, include Mexican-inspired design details, and start the club’s Futuro Sagrado. Fans in Mexico get early access July 16; the global release is July 22; and the team wears them in a match on July 18.
1. What is Chivas de Guadalajara?
It’s a very popular Mexican football club also called Club Deportivo Guadalajara, known for its red, white, and blue colors and goat symbol.
2. What is Aero-FIT?
It’s Nike’s special shirt technology that uses smart knitting and mesh zones to keep players cool by moving air and lifting fabric off the skin.
3. Why is the polo collar a big deal?
The polo collar connects to some of the club’s most memorable historical moments, so bringing it back honors that history.
4. When can I buy the kits?
Mexico gets early access on July 16; worldwide release is July 22.
5. What does “Futuro Sagrado” mean?
It’s the club’s name for its new future plan — “Sacred Future” — and these kits are the first step in it.
