NEW DELHI: The Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday released an AI-generated video featuring party convenor Arvind Kejriwal dressed as Santa Claus, distributing welfare schemes to various beneficiaries, including women, children, and the elderly.
The video, accompanied by a song, described the welfare schemes in a whimsical manner. The song loosely translated as follows: “Jolly all Kejriwal he brings a cheer, he brings a cheer, with 2100 for women every month this year and Medicare for elders. Free Bus Ride each day and night. Ho Ho Ho Santa Kejriwal is here, spreading joy for all far and near. Free electricity all day and night, Santa Kejriwal gifts are a delight.”
Ahead of the 2025 Delhi Legislative Assembly election, AAP has promised several welfare schemes, including Rs 2,100 per month for women and free healthcare for the elderly. Arvind Kejriwal recently launched the registration process for the “Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojna,” starting in East Kidwai Nagar. The scheme promises Rs 1,000 a month to eligible women over the age of 18, which will later increase to Rs 2,100. However, the money will be disbursed only after the election.
