TSMC stands for Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.. Think of TSMC like the world’s biggest bakery for tiny “brains” inside phones, computers, and AI machines — these brains are called chips (or semiconductors).

TSMC is in a hurry to make its Arizona factory bigger and faster. Why? Because customers keep asking for more chips for many years to come — what TSMC calls a “multi-year demand mega trend.”

He said: “We’re seeing this strong, multi-year demand, and we do not plan to leave any food on the table for anybody else.”
That just means: TSMC wants to serve its customers itself and not miss out.
He also said if the big trend stays good, TSMC can keep making healthy profits for its owners (shareholders).

A nanometer is super small — it measures the size of a tiny switch on a chip called a transistor.
Huang says TSMC can’t control the stock market. It just focuses on its business basics. Even though parts are getting pricier, TSMC feels little pain because it sticks to the high-end market.
Important Point: TSMC is following laws on China, keeping its high-end focus, and planting seeds for future tech like physical AI.
TSMC is pouring $100 billion extra into Arizona because AI chip demand is huge and lasting. Total Arizona plans hit $265 billion. The company is moving to smaller, stronger chip tech (3nm and 2nm), dealing with higher U.S. costs, following China rules, and betting on future tech — all while letting the stock market do its own thing.
