A power and desalination plant in Kuwait was attacked by Iran on Sunday. This was the second day in a row that this happened, according to Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy.
On Saturday, a local government official in Iran said that a US missile attack also damaged a desalination plant in Iran. Desalination plants are places that clean seawater so people can drink it. CNN asked the US military to respond, but has not heard back yet.
Desalination plants take seawater (water from the ocean) and turn it into drinking water.
