Imagine you’re all dressed up, excited to see your favorite band play live. You’re sitting in your seat, the lights dim… and then an announcement comes over the speakers: the show isn’t happening tonight. That’s exactly what happened to thousands of fans at San Francisco’s Chase Center on Thursday night.
Earth, Wind & Fire was supposed to perform with Lionel Richie, but a medical emergency involving one of the band members forced them to postpone the concert at the very last minute.

As of Thursday night, no word yet on whether these shows will also be postponed.
Earlier in June: Lionel Richie became ill during a show in Minnesota and had to rest on doctor’s orders. That concert was also disrupted.
So this tour has had some tough luck with health issues affecting both headliners!
