What the menu at Paris Olympics will look like?
As the day of the opening ceremony is coming closer, more aspects of the game are becoming more and more visible. In the journey to exhume more facts about the games, the republicworld.com recently had a conversation with the Indian contingent’s chief nutritionist, Ms. Aradhana Sharma and during the one-to-one, Ms. Sharma gave a little hint about what’s going to be on the menu of the Paris Olympics village. She revealed that the entire menu will be divided into four heads, representing cuisines from different continents. As Indian cuisine is quite popular in the entire world, the menu will feature some Indian dishes.
“It’s a beautiful menu I should say. They have divided the whole meals into four different districts, one is Asian, then French, then Halal and world, so these four districts are there and you will have, I mean what not, it’s a huge spread of different kind of meals. So, you will have right from your vegetarian vegan stuff to your seafood and you know a different kind of salad bars and soups and all that. Loads of stuff, I mean I can’t even tell all those things but I was so happy to see, it was wow, looking at the menu, it’s really good. ” Said Sharma.
“There is veg biryani, there is Butter Chicken, there is some cauliflower curry and a Paneer dish. So, these are going to be there, again it’s not every day but now and then our athletes are going to get a taste of it.” Sharma on the Indian options available in the menu.
