MANDYA/BENGALURU: Congress MLA from Mandya in Karnataka, Ravikumar Ganiga, claimed BJP and JDS are attempting to destabilise Congress govt in the state through ‘Operation Kamal’ by offering Congress MLAs Rs 100 crore each to switch sides.
The MLA Sunday said in his constituency that he has audio evidence to support his claims. He said BJP has upped the amount from the previous Rs 50 crore to lure MLAs.”On Friday, a person called and said ‘100 is ready. Where will you come?’,” he alleged.
Ganiga accused a group of BJP functionaries, including BL Santosh, Shobha Karandlaje and Pralhad Joshi and Union minister HD Kumaraswamy, of JDS, of orchestrating an attempt to topple the Congress govt in state.
