4 New Cheat Master Sprites Drop in Fortnite Aug 27

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: New Cheat Master Sprites Arriving August 27!

What’s Happening?

Hey there, Fortnite fans! Epic Games is dropping something super exciting on Thursday, August 27, 2026 — four brand-new Cheat Master Sprites are joining the game as part of the "New Sprite Day" update!

But wait… what’s a Sprite? Think of Sprites like special collectible characters or pets that you can find and collect in Fortnite. They’re like rare trading cards, but in the game! And Cheat Master Sprites are the ultra-special, super-rare versions.

When Can You Get Them?

The new Sprites will appear on the map at 6:00 AM PT / 9:00 AM ET on August 27 — that’s when the weekly "Sprite reset" happens (like a fresh new day for finding Sprites).

IMPORTANT TIME ZONE CALLOUT

Here’s exactly when they drop in your region:

Region Date Time
PT (West Coast US) August 27 6:00 AM
ET (East Coast US) August 27 9:00 AM
UK (BST) August 27 2:00 PM

Meet the Four New Cheat Master Sprites!

Here are the four brand-new Sprites making their debut:

Sprite Name Special Notes
Cheat Master Klombo Sprite ULTRA-RARE — Expected to be the hardest to find!
Cheat Master Shadow Sprite Spooky and mysterious variant
Cheat Master Jackrabbit Sprite Speedy bunny-themed collectible
Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite Cool tech-themed addition

PRO TIP: Cheat Master Klombo is the big star here. Because it’s "ultra-rare," you might need to search for hours to find it. Its spawn rate (how often it appears in the game world) could be super low!

Great News: Old Cheat Master Sprites Are Now Easier to Get!

Remember those Sprites you could only unlock by typing secret cheat codes in the Admin Panel (a special developer menu)? Well, six of them are now joining the regular loot pool!

What’s a "loot pool"?

It’s just the list of items that can randomly appear in chests, on the ground, or as rewards when you play matches. Now you can find these just by playing normally — no secret codes needed!

The Sprites Now in the Regular Loot Pool:

  • Cheat Master Bush Sprite
  • Cheat Master Jonesy Sprite
  • Cheat Master 8-Bit Sprite
  • Cheat Master Adventure Sprite
  • Cheat Master Sonic Sprite
  • Cheat Master Tails Sprite

NOTE: We don’t know exactly where each one will spawn or how rare they’ll be yet. Keep your eyes peeled!

This Week’s Sprite Event Schedule

Epic has a whole week of Sprite fun planned:

Day Date Event
Monday August 24 Cheat Code Day — Practice those codes!
Thursday August 27 NEW SPRITE DAY — The big release!
Saturday August 29 Power Hours (Sonic-themed) — Better chances for Sonic Sprites!

How to Prepare for New Sprite Day

Follow these steps to maximize your chances:

  1. Set an alarm for your region’s release time (see table above)
  2. Log in early — the first hour after reset usually has the most players hunting
  3. Check Sprite Chests — special chests that only contain Sprites
  4. Play with friends — more eyes = better chance of spotting rare ones
  5. Don’t forget Saturday’s Sonic Power Hours for extra Sonic Sprite chances!

Summary

  • Four new Cheat Master Sprites arrive August 27 at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET
  • Cheat Master Klombo is the ultra-rare headliner — bring patience!
  • Six previously code-locked Sprites now drop in regular gameplay
  • Three special events this week: Cheat Code Day (Mon), New Sprite Day (Thu), Sonic Power Hours (Sat)
  • Check the time zone table so you don’t miss the drop in your region!

FAQ — Your Questions Answered

1. What exactly is a "Sprite" in Fortnite?

A Sprite is a collectible character/pet that you can find, collect, and show off in your collection. Think of them like digital stickers or Pokémon — but in Fortnite!

2. What does "ultra-rare" mean for Cheat Master Klombo?

It means the game spawns (creates) this Sprite very, very rarely. You might open dozens of Sprite Chests or search for hours before finding one. It’s like finding a shiny Pokémon!

3. Do I need to buy anything to get these Sprites?

Nope! They’re free to find in-game. However, some might appear in the Item Shop later for V-Bucks (Fortnite’s premium currency), but the original way to get them is just by playing.

4. What were "lobby hack cheat codes" and the "Admin Panel"?

These were secret codes players could type in a special developer menu (Admin Panel) to instantly unlock certain Sprites. It was like a "backdoor" for collectors. Now those Sprites are available to everyone through normal gameplay!

5. Will the new Sprites stay in the game forever?

Yes! Once added to the loot pool, they become permanent collectibles. But their rarity means they’ll always be hard to find — that’s what makes them special!

Happy hunting, and may the Klombo be ever in your favor!
