“I am Tilottama’s mother speaking. Today, on Teacher’s say, I offer my respects to all the teachers on behalf of my daughter. From her childhood, she dreamed of becoming a doctor. You were the guiding force behind that dream, and we, as her parents, stood by her. She also worked very hard. But I believe it was because she had good teachers like you by her side that she could fulfill her dream of becoming a doctor,” the letter read.
“One duty, one daughter’s desperate plea to all teachers of medical colleges, doctors, health authorities, and nursing staff: I humbly request if you have any information, please bring it forward, because I believe the silence of good people emboldens criminals. By supporting the movement for justice for my daughter and honoring all teachers on Teacher’s Day, I hope for justice for my daughter,” she added.
