The committee, headed by former agriculture secretary Sanjay Agrawal, has held more than two dozen meetings and workshops so far. “We will make the report public soon,” Chouhan said while addressing the media on his ministry’s works in the first 100 days of the Modi govt’s third term.The committee was tasked to give suggestions to make MSP for crop procurement more effective and transparent, promote natural farming, and change crop patterns.
Chouhan unveiled an initiative, aimed at improving farmer engagement through ‘Adhunik Krishi Choupal‘, a programme featuring scientists sharing agricultural innovations which will be aired from October.
