NEW DELHI: England’s last tour of Pakistan in 2022 saw Babar Azam perform notably against the English bowlers across all three Test matches. In their first Test at Rawalpindi Stadium, England put up a significant score of 657 in their first innings.
Babar Azam led Pakistan’s response during a crucial cricket match against England. He showed determination by scoring a century, bringing Pakistan closer to England’s total.However, Babar couldn’t replicate his performance in the second innings. Babar Azam showcased his batting prowess by scoring 348 runs across three matches. He maintained an impressive average of 58.00, accumulating three fifties and one century. Azam’s performance stood out as he was the only consistent scorer for Pakistan.

Azam, 30, no longer captains the Pakistan team in any format. He is focusing on his batting efforts, aiming to score more runs for the team.
