Apple CEO Tim Cook shares Diwali wishes with these iPhone photos

Apple CEO Tim Cook extended wishes for Diwali on social media platform X, sharing a beautiful photograph of diyas (traditional oil lamps) taken by Delhi-born photographer Rohit Vohra. The image, shot on an iPhone 16 Pro Max, captures the essence of the Festival of Lights. Cook’s gesture is part of his annual tradition of showcasing exceptional iPhone photography from Indian users during Diwali.
“Diwali is a time of light, unity, and hope. Wishing everyone celebrating a joyous and peaceful Festival of Lights! Shot on iPhone 16 Pro Max by Rohit Vohra,” Cook said in a post on X.

Last year, Cook shared a photo clicked with iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Meanwhile, Vohra who is Leica Ambassador and editor-in-chief of APF magazine that “recognise fresh talent”, posted a screenshot saying, “Honoured to have #Timcook @apple share my photograph this Diwali. Wishing everyone a happy and prosperous Diwali. Truly Humbled 🙏”

Rohit Vohra says he’s “really impressed” with iPhone 16 Pro Max cameras

Vohra, in a statement shared with the Times of India Tech, lauded the camera setup on the iPhone 16 Pro Max and even provided the details of the lens used when he clicked the photograph that is now making rounds on the social media.
“Diwali has always been my favourite festival. The joy of being with family, the dazzling lights, and the celebrations make it truly special. This year, I wanted to capture the intimate side of Diwali, so I decided to photograph the decorations in my own home. I’m really impressed with how powerful the cameras are on the latest iPhone 16 Pro Max,” Vohra said in a statement.
“Shooting in low light can be tricky, but the new iPhone makes it a breeze. This shot was taken using the default 1x fusion lens at 24mm. It’s my favourite lens because it’s quick, captures accurate skin tones, and balances light beautifully. Wishing everyone a very Happy Diwali!” he added.
Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max comes with a ‘Pro’ camera system that has a 48MP Fusion sensor on the main camera, 12MP sensor paired with 2x Telephoto lens and a 48MP sensor married to an ultrawide lens.
