NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a phone from Bangladesh government’s interim head Muhammad Yunus who assured the safety of Bangladesh Hindus and other minorities amid violent protests.

Exchanged views on the prevailing situation.Reiterated India’s support for a democratic, stable, peaceful and progressive Bangladesh.
