The Indian Head Coach did not hold himself back and said that Ponting has no business with Indian cricket and should focus more on what is happening with Australian cricket. Now, Ricky Ponting’s former Australia teammate Mike Hussey has broken his silence on the entire matter.
‘We just heard Gambhir talk about Virat and Rohit not making runs. The silliest thing you can do is to write off champion players. I am backing them to perform well in Australia‘, said Hussey while speaking to Fox Cricket.

India are virtually out of the World Test Championship 2025 Final and they are only to blame themselves. India still have an outside chance to make it to the finals but they have an herculean task ahead of them. Firstly, Rohit Sharma and Co. can’t afford to lose even one Test match and secondly, they have to win atleast four out of the five Test matches even before they fancy their chances.
