Mohammed Shami replied to Sanjay Manjrekar’s recent remarks on his IPL career. Manjrekar has said that Shami’s value will decline dramatically in the IPL mega-auction set for 2025.Claiming the purple hat in the 2023 IPL season, the Indian fast bowler went to Instagram to vent his dissatisfaction. Shami asked Manjrekar to store his “insight” for later and keep his ideas to himself in a sarcastic post on the morning of November 21. Taking a direct jab at the commentator’s projection on his future in the IPL, the message arrived only one day before Shami was scheduled to play the Perth Test match. After an ankle injury caused a year-long break from competitive cricket, Shami returned and had to have surgery after the ODI World Cup final in Australia in 2023.
