The manifesto also promises guaranteed government jobs to two lakh youths ‘without any slip and without any expense.’
“We are serving Haryana non-stop and you have to shoulder a huge responsibility in doing this non-stop.We have done what we said, we have also done what we did not say, and we will also do what we say,” said BJP chief JP Nadda addressing the event.
Attacking Congress over its agricultural policies, Nadda said, “When the Congress was in power, crop compensation of Rs 1,158 crore was given to the farmers, whereas during the BJP government, crop compensation of Rs 12,500 crore was given to the farmers. Compared to the Congress government, during the BJP government, farmers were given about 10 times more crop compensation.”
Here’re 20 key promises made by BJP in its manifesto:
- Rs 2,100 per month to all women under Laado Laxmi Yojana
- Purchase of 24 crops at declared Minimum Support Price (MSP)
- Guaranteed government jobs to 2 lakh youth ‘without any slip and without any expense’
- Construction of 10 industrial cities on the lines of IMT Kharkhoda. Special incentives to entrepreneurs to provide jobs to 50,000 local youth per city
- Under Chirayu-Ayushman Yojana, free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh is provided to each family and free treatment facility up to Rs 5 lakh to each elderly person above 70 years of age in the family.
- Other employment opportunities for 5 lakh youth and monthly stipend from National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme.
- 5 lakh houses in urban and rural areas
- Dialysis in government hospitals and diagnosis in all hospitals is free.
- Olympic Games nursery in every district
- Cylinder for Rs 500 under Har Ghar Grihani Yojana
- Under the Awal Balika Yojana, every student going to college in a rural area will be given a scooter trust with heart BJP again
- Guarantee of government job to every Haryanvi Agniveer
- Construction of KMP’s Orbital Rail Corridor and launch of new Vande Bharat trains in collaboration with the Government of India.
- Launch of various rapid rail services and Intercity Express Metro service between Faridabad and Gurugram with the cooperation of the Government of India.
- Separate welfare boards with adequate budget for small backward castes (36 communities)
- Increase in all social monthly pensions based on scientific formula linking DA and pensions
- Full scholarship to students of OBC and SC castes from Haryana studying medicine and engineering from any government college in India.
- Haryana state government will guarantee loans up to Rs 25 lakh for all OBC category entrepreneurs, in addition to the Mudra Scheme.
- Will provide training in modern skills by making Haryana a center of global education.
- An international level Aravalli Jungle Safari Park in South Haryana
