Delhi CM house row: AAP shares images of Atishi working amid packed cartons, accuses BJP of ‘forcibly capturing’ bungalow
The AAP has shared images of Delhi CM Atishi signing files amid packed belongings, claiming she was forcibly vacated from her residence. AAP leader Sanjay Singh accused the BJP of disrespect during the Navratri festival.

NEW DELHI: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday shared images of Delhi chief minister Atishi signing files at her Kalkaji residence, surrounded by packed cartons of her belongings.
This came a day after the party claimed she was “forcibly vacated” from the 6, Flagstaff Road bungalow in Delhi.
AAP leader Sanjay Singh posted the images on X, criticizing the BJP, and asserting that Atishi’s commitment to serve Delhi remains intact despite the eviction.

Singh accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of “throwing out” the belongings of a woman chief minister during the Navratri festival. Addressing a press conference, the Rajya Sabha MP condemned the BJP for allegedly attempting to “forcibly capture” the chief minister’s residence.
“This is a serious disrespect to an elected woman chief minister and the people of Delhi. A party that has been out of power in Delhi for 27 years is trying to seize the chief minister’s residence by force,” Singh said, further alleging that the move was carried out under the direction of Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena.
Atishi, who resides in her Kalkaji constituency in South Delhi, was allotted the AB-17 bungalow on Mathura Road after being appointed a minister last year in the Arvind Kejriwal-led government.
The AAP, BJP, chief minister’s Office (CMO), and the Lieutenant Governor’s office are currently embroiled in a blame game over the occupation of the Flagstaff Road bungalow. AAP claims that the bungalow was vacated by Kejriwal and handed over to Atishi by the PWD. However, sources in the LG’s office maintain that the bungalow is not officially allotted to Atishi, and will only be handed over once an inventory of items inside is completed for fresh allotment.
The BJP, meanwhile, has accused AAP and Kejriwal of attempting to “illegally occupy” the bungalow by having Atishi move in without proper handover procedures being followed.
