Two youths were detained on Monday in Bihar’s Saran for using a “distorted” tricolour during the Milad-ul-Nabi procession, with the Ashok Chakra on the national flag replaced with the crescent moon and star symbol, reports H K Verma. Police seized the distorted flag and a vehicle used in the procession. The action came after a video of the procession went viral on social media.Saran SP Kumar Ashish said a stern action would be taken against those who participated in the procession.
