Elon Musk, Tesla CEO and owner of X took his 4-year-old son X-Æ-12 to Capitol Hill Thursday for a meeting about the newly-formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The department was set up recently by President-elect Donald Trump who handed control of the incoming presidential advisory commission to Musk and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.
“Our committee looks forward to partnering with @DOGE to make the federal government more efficient, effective, and accountable to the American people,” the House Oversight Committee tweeted. An accompanying photo showed X-Æ-12 sitting on Musk’s shoulders.
Joining them at the meeting were House Speaker Mike Johnson, Sen. Mike Lee, Rep. James Comer, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, as seen in images shared on social media.
