Cristiano Ronaldo Congratulates Rafael Nadal

Cristiano Ronaldo and Rafael Nadal started their careers almost at the same time. Their world crossed over when Ronaldo signed for Real Madrid, a club that Rafael Nadal is a die-hard fan of. The two have also met on several occasions and shared pleasantries which are recorded on camera. As mutual respect bloomed, CR7 left a message for his friend on one of his most significant days.

“Rafa, what an incredible race you’ve had! Your dedication, passion and incredible talent have inspired millions around the world. It has been an honor to witness your journey and to be able to call you a friend. Congrats on an amazing career! Enjoy your retirement!”, Cristiano Ronaldo’s comment on Rafael Nadal’s post declaring retirement.

Arguably the greatest Tennis player of all time, Rafael Nadal, announced his retirement from professional Tennis. In an emotional video post, Rafa shared the current state of his fitness and having kept everything in mind the 22-time Grand Slam champion stated that the time is right to bid adieu to a glorious career, which spanned over 20 years. Nadal will officially hang up his boots at the end of the 2024 season. The Davis Cup final will be his final appearance as a Tennis player.
