Flipkart is facing users’ backlash for a promotional deal that advertised iPhone 13 for Rs 11. Part of the upcoming Big Billion Days sale, Flipkart teased iPhone 13 for iPhone 13 at 11pm under its ‘Fastest Fingers First’ offer. Buyers, who expected to snag the iPhone at an ‘unbeatable price’ were left disappointed and frustrated with some complaining about seeing the product ‘sold out’ and ‘went out of stock’ within minutes.Others said that while they were able to purchase the smartphone for Rs 11, the order was later cancelled by the e-commerce platform. While others claimed to face technical glitches while ordering.
Flipkart users took to microblogging platform X to share their frustrations, with some calling it a ‘marketing gimmick’, ‘biggest scam’, ‘fraud’ and ‘injustice’ for users.
