Rinku Singh, who has had a breakout IPL 2023 season and then went on to become a household name, has finally been rewarded by Kolkata Knight Riders for the outstanding performances he has delivered for the IPL franchise. Singh was one of the favourites to get retained by KKR ahead of the official release of the retention list and it turns out he became the first entry by the defending champions.
KKR retained Rinku Singh for INR 13 crores, which highlights a precise percentage increase of 2263.64% from his earlier earnings of 55 lakhs. Rinku is the first pick of Kolkata, which stations him above other proven match winners like Sunil Narine and Andre Russell in the pecking order.
