NOIDA: Greater Noida police apprehended a pub proprietor following allegations of aggressive behavior towards security personnel at Radha Sky Garden society in the Bisrakh area on Tuesday evening.
The altercation reportedly stemmed from a parking dispute.
The arrest came after footage of the incident circulated widely on social media platforms.
The video captured the accused in a confrontation with the society’s security staff on Monday evening regarding parking arrangements.
The footage shows an individual in a heated exchange with the residential complex’s security personnel, including verbal intimidation and threats of gunfire.
Police identified the accused as Gaurav Sisodia, a resident of Radha Sky Garden society in Sector-16B, Bisrakh. Sisodia operates a restaurant and bar in a nearby mall.
According to reports, on Monday at approximately 8.30 pm, Sisodia noticed a vehicle parked in a prohibited zone while returning to his residence. He photographed the vehicle and shared the image in the society’s maintenance group chat. The online discussion quickly escalated into a physical altercation.
Society personnel alleged that Sisodia later arrived with a revolver and discharged six rounds, endangering the security staff.
Manoj Kumar Gupta, SHO of the Bisrakh police station, confirmed that an FIR was registered against Sisodia under sections 288 (Negligent conduct with respect to explosive substances) and 125 (Act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Investigations are ongoing following Sisodia’s arrest.
