‘He’s back’ trends on X after Trump makes comeback – Times of India

GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump officially returned to X on Monday, just as he gears up for an interview with the Tesla CEO Elon Musk. The social media platform formerly known as Twitter was flooded with post stating, “He’s back on X!!!!!” and immediately began trending on the platform.
Trump took to X, and wrote: “Are you better off now than you were when I was president? Our economy is shattered. Our border has been erased. We’re a nation in decline. Make the American Dream AFFORDABLE again. Make America SAFE again. Make America GREAT Again!”
Trump shared a two-and-a-half-minute video on his X account. The video included footage from his time in office and audio of him delivering one of his familiar campaign lines in reference to the legal cases against him: “They’re not coming after me, they’re coming after you. I just happen to be standing in their way, and I will never move.”
The video received mixed reactions from netizens on X. One user said “This is the happiest I have been since the morning of November 4th, 2020, Mr. President. You just made Monday great again, and you made my day.
Second user remarked: “ Let’s go!!! MAGA baby!”
Another user said: “Nothing in this video is about how he’ll make America great again or improve American lives. Two and a half minutes about how the world’s against him.”
The billionaire, who has been a strong supporter of Trump, will speak with him on the social media platform X, on Monday. Ahead of the interview, Musk said he plans on doing “some scaling tests”. Later he again posted: “Entertainment guaranteed!”
Elon Musk Vision reposted on X stating: “Get ready to celebrate! Trump is back!”
Trump was banned from Twitter over three years ago following the January 6 Capitol insurrection, but after Elon Musk acquired the platform, Trump was reinstated in November 2022. However, after being indicted on election interference charges in 2023, Trump has not posted on the platform since then.
