The India vs Bangladesh test series has been a mixed bag of emotions as in the first test India absolutely decimated the Bangladesh side to pick up the win in the first of two test matches. The match also witnessed some heartbreaking moments such as Virat Kohli not taking a referral and then later it being found out that he was not out. As for the second test, fans got to only a few hours of play before stumps were called due to bad lighting. As for the second and third day, rain played the spoilsport as stumps were called on both days without even a ball being bowled.
The play in the second test finally began on the fourth day when there were bright rays of sunlight on the pitch.
Siraj Takes Absolute Screamer
Mohammad Siraj during the second test match’s day 4 took an absolute screamer of a catch to dismiss Bangladesh star Shakib Al Hasan. Shakib Al Hasan was batting on 9 runs when he lofted a delivery by Ravi Ashwin trying to hit it for six. Mohammad Siraj who was on the third man boundary called the catch and went to take it.

With the sun shining into his eyes Siraj ran and misjudged where the ball would fall but still managed to grab it by a single hand as he fell in the process. The catch left everyone absolutely bewildered due to the attempt and the catch in itself being such an excellent one.

Shakib Al Hasan was also left shocked as he walked back to the pavillion.
This was the second catch of the sorts on the fouth day as just a while before Siraj’s catch, Rohit Sharma had taken a one-handed catch by leaping high in the air to dismiss Liton Das.
