Indian-origin CEO Mohak Nahta‘s free visa offer to every Indian if Neeraj Chopra wins a Gold Medal at the Paris Olympics stays. CEO of US-based Y travel startup Atlys, Nshta had promised all Indians free visa to anywhere in the world to celebrate Neeraj Chopra’s Gold. But then it’s a game, and Chopra fell short of retaining his Gold medal in the men’s javelin throw at Paris Olympics, securing Silver with a best throw of 89.45 meters.Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem won Gold with a throw of 92.97 meters.

Lauding Neeraj’s effort and the fact that he continued his medal winning streak at Olympics, Altys offers remains. “I promised a free visa if we won gold. Today, it’s clear—it’s not the colour of the medal but our spirit that shines,” Nahta wrote in a LinkedIn post. “To celebrate this achievement, I’m going ahead with our original offer of free visas for all Indians today.”
Nahta added, “People who commented with emails on my earlier posts will receive instructions over email from Atlys on how to redeem this offer shortly.”

Neeraj Chopra’s best throw of 89.45 meters, a season’s best, came in his second attempt, securing his Silver Olympic medal.
“We all feel happy whenever we win a medal for the country. It’s time to improve the game now. We will sit, discuss, and enhance our performance. India performed well at the Paris Olympics, and the competition was strong. Our national anthem may not have been played today, but it will definitely be played somewhere in the future. If not in Paris, then elsewhere,” said Neeraj after winning the Silver medal.
