NEW DELHI: A Patna-bound IndiGo made an emergency landing on Friday in Nagpur as the passenger fell ill mid-flight, according to the officials.
The passenger experienced alarming symptoms during the flight, which included “intense shaking, loss of consciousness and body stiffness,” as reported by a senior official at KIMS-Kingsway Hospital, where the patient was taken following the landing.
Preliminary medical evaluation suggests that the passenger is afflicted with a seizure disorder and is currently receiving treatment in the hospital’s emergency department, the official stated.
