Jason Kelce is planning to deliver a customized Christmas present to Taylor Swift, as he revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Kelce talked about how he had planned his gift – maybe not exactly personal but not lacking for creativity either. In other parts of the interview, the retired athlete dropped some news: he’ll be hosting his own late-night show on ESPN on Friday nights as of January.

Jason Kelce, the older brother of Travis Kelce, faces a unique holiday challenge this year: buying gifts for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his girlfriend Taylor Swift.

“It’s tough to shop for people that can have anything that they want,” Jason admitted on the November 21 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“You gotta go to handmade gifts, something sentimental that is near and dear to them.” Jason is reportedly planning to create a “handmade” item for Swift and his brother Travis Kelce, as rumored by Kimmel during a Monday Night Countdown interview. “I’ve never done it, but I think it would work really well,” Jason said.
Jason, who has three daughters, has been inspired by his children to create gifts this year. “I’ve got something up my sleeve this year,” he teased. “I think a macaroni necklace. It works on me with my kids very well.” Kimmel was enthusiastic about the idea, believing that the gift could initiate a Swifties trend. “It would be funny if you make Taylor a macaroni necklace,” the late night host quipped, “and then all of the sudden millions of girls are wearing macaroni necklaces.” Jason declared, “Friendship macaroni necklaces, we just started a trend.”
The retired athlete announced in an interview that he will be hosting his own late-night show on ESPN starting in January. “For me, the biggest thing that players miss when they leave the sport is being around the guys,” he stated that his new show will help him bridge the gap between football and retirement, allowing him to spend more time with his wife, Kylie Kelce, and their daughters.
“Being able to have the show, where we’re gonna have a bunch of guys up there, legends of the game, friends that I’ve played with, coaches, celebrities,” he continued. “While also incorporating NFL films, who’s going to be a part of it.”

Jason Kelce, eight months after retiring from the NFL, announced he is now busier in various ways, including hosting a Philadelphia-based show with a live studio audience. “It’s like more decentralized so it’s a lot of like inefficient busyness,” he said. “Whereas every day I went down to the NovaCare complex in South Philly and worked to get better at football with a bunch of coaches and players and it was awesome and now I’m traveling.”
