Jude Bellingham’s Former Real Madrid Teammate Reveals His Heartbroken Reaction Post Euro Final Loss



Jude Bellingham and England fell short at the final hurdle as they heartbreakingly lost the Euro 2024 final against Spain in Berlin after conceding a 87th minute goal to Mikel Oyarzabal. 

Jude Bellingham had a fantastic season with Real Madrid at club level and his performances at Euro 2024 earned him many plaudits. Heading into the final, a lot of hope was pinned on Bellingham and England thought it was finally going to be their time. But England got completely dominated by Spain in the finals and lost 2-1. 

As another major title slipped out of England’s grasp, Jude Bellingham was furious after the game and his former Real Madrid teammate has revealed how the Englishman reacted after Euro final defeat. 

Jude Bellingham’s reaction after Euro final loss 

Jude Bellingham’s retired Real Madrid teammate and club legend Toni Kroos recently revealed that he was in contact with Jude Bellingham after England’s Euro final loss. Toni Kroos said that he texted Bellingham to cheer him up but revealed that he wasn’t in the best of moods after the defeat. 

Despite Jude Bellingham’s dejection, Toni Kroos backed the Real Madrid number 5 to bounce back from the defeat and called him a fighter. 

“Of course I felt bad for him, I texted him and we were in contact. He wasn’t in the best mood but he’s a fighter,” said Toni Kroos on Jude Bellingham.

Spain Deserved to win Euro 2024 

While, Toni Kroos felt bad for Jude Bellingham, he had no hesitation in admitting that Spain were the best team in the tournament and thoroughly deserved to win the Euro 2024. 

“Spain definitely deserved to win the EUROs. They played the best football out of everyone in the tournament,” said Toni Kroos looking back at Euro 2024.

Toni Kroos retired from football after Spain knocked Germany out in the Euro 2024 quarterfinal by scoring a last minute winner in extra time.
