Klay Thompson TROLLS Splash Bro Stephen Curry In Emotional Return Against Golden State Warriors

After 13 years and winning four NBA championships, Klay Thompson said goodbye to Golden State Warriors and ‘Splash Bro’ Stephen Curry and joined Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving at the Dallas Mavericks during the free agency this offseason. Ever since leaving the Bay Area, Klay Thompson returned to face his old teammates when the Mavericks took on the Warriors on road. 

The Chase Center gave a rousing and emotional reception to ‘Captain Klay’ and in an exhilarating matchup, Klay Thompson ended up trolling Steph Curry mid game after hitting a three pointer.

The Dallas Mavericks and the Golden State Warriors in the midst of a high octane clash at the chase center when in the second quarter of the game, Klay Thompson fired up from the three point arc. 

Klay Thompson rained down two straight three pointers to extend the Dallas Mavericks lead to seven points midway through the second quarter. As Klay knocked down his second three he decided to do Steph Curry’s trademark shimmy celebration which left Steph Curry shaking his head and smiling.

Warriors emotional reception for Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson’s return to the Bay Area lived up to every expectation as the superstar got a rousing and emotional reception by the Golden State Warriors franchise and fans. 

Nearly 400 Warriors employee were wearing the ‘Captain Klay’ hat as they welcomed Klay Thompson back into the arena.

The Warriors also gave Klay Thompson an emotional tribute on the court which left Klay Thompson cracking up.
