‘Like Kamala Harris?’: Nina Turner roasted for ‘no one voted for Elon Musk’ jibe – Times of India

Nina Turner said nobody voted for Elon Musk. MAGA supporters reminded her that nobody voted for Kamala Harris either.

Former Ohio senator Nina Turner was roasted by MAGA supporters for her continued tirade against Elon Musk over the impending government shutdown. In less than 24 hours, Congress has to take some steps to avert a possible shutdown as two spending bills have been rejected by Congress and Elon Musk is being blamed for the logjam. It was Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy — the two co-chiefs of the Department of Government Efficiency –who raised alarm against the bill prompting a newer bill that they backed. But Congress rejected that bill too.

“No one voted for Elon Musk,” Nina Turner wrote calling Elon Musk an oligarch.
“No one voter for you, either,” one reply said.
“So, like Kamala Harris?” another asked.
“No one voted for Kamala Harris, yet she was installed,” another said.
“No one voted for Kamala in the primary and you didn’t have a problem with that,” Internet troll Catturd gave it back to Nina Turner.

Nina Turner then tagged Elon Musk and Donald Trump on X and said the Republican Party needs to figure out who is the leader of the party. Turner also posted about how Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg’s wealth saw the maximum growth between 2012 and 2024.
“I had no issue calling Michael Bloomberg an oligarch when he ran for President as a Democrat in 2020. I have no issue calling Elon Musk an oligarch for how he’s used his money to buy power. This isn’t red versus blue, it’s a class struggle we’re in,” the Dem leader said.
Elon Musk made more than 100 posts on X rallying against the elements of the bill and pushed for a government shutdown as it would not be unusual and wouldn’t hurt critical functions. Even Republicans started questioning Elon Musk’s role in the government and Dem leaders started calling him President Musk.
Musk reacted to all the criticisms and said people gave him the power and not the Republicans. “All I can do is bring things to the attention of the people, so they may voice their support if they so choose,” Musk wrote on X on Wednesday.
