Luka Modric speaks on his goals after contract extension with Real Madrid
Having renewed his contract until 2025, Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric is looking for several trophies this season. Last month the 38-year-old’s contract expired when he was representing Croatia at Euro 2024.
Modric has been a major contributor for Real Madrid since the summer of 2012 after leaving Tottenham Hotspur. Over 534 games across all levels, he has scored 34 goals and given 89 assists.
On Wednesday, July 17, Modric announced the extension of his one-year contract at the Bernabeu, fulfilling a desire he had when he initially joined Los Blancos. According to Madrid Xtra, the Croatian midfielder stated his eagerness about the forthcoming season and expected to win several medals. Luka Modric said:
