An Amazon customer claims that he received Sony PlayStation 4 inside a PS 5 box that he ordered from the e-commerce store. Reddit users – shubhfaldu87 shared a post in the platform’s India community, narrating the incident. “Found a PS4 in a PS5 box! Made a complaint for the same at CS Return Failed and no one came to Pick up the product twice! Is this what we expect from #Amazon now? Is anyone here bothered by this issue with their products this year on Amazon??,” he wrote in the post.

In the post, the Reddit user has also shared 3 photos as proof for his claim. One of the photos shows the PS5 PlayStation box, while the second shows the PS4 box placed inside the PS5 packaging.
The individual said that he has raised a return request for the order. However, “no one came to Pick up the product”. He also shared a screenshot of the Amazon app depicting the return request he made. As per the screenshot, a return request was initiated on October 8. A pickup attempt was made on October 9, but it failed as ‘package not ready’, the photo shows. The message for the failed attempt read, “Pickup attempted – package not ready.”
