Missing Kerala student found dead in Scotland – Times of India

TOI correspondent from London: The search for a 22-year-old student from Kerala’s Kolenchery, missing since Dec 6, has ended in tragedy after a body Scotland police believe to be hers was found in Almond river near Newbridge in Edinburgh.
Santra Elizabath Saju, a student at Heriot-Watt University, was last seen inside an Asda store in Livingston, west of Edinburgh, between 9.10 pm and 9.45 pm on Dec 6, wearing a black facemask and a black winter coat. Friends and family, sick with worry, said her disappearance was “very out of character”.
Police said, “Formal identification is yet to take place; however, the family of Santra Saju has been informed.”
The death is not believed to be suspicious, suggesting no third-party involvement, they said.
