Former India pacer Munaf Patel has been appointed as the bowling coach for Delhi Capitals ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League ( IPL ) season. The 41-year-old, who retired from professional cricket in 2018, will take on this high-profile coaching role for the first time in his career. Munaf Patel will work alongside newly-appointed head coach Hemang Badani and DC’s director of cricket, Venugopal Rao. Munaf was part of the Indian cricket team that won the 2011 Cricket World Cup .
