Dwivedi also appealed to the police to take swift action. In the post, which is now deleted, Dwivedi tagged UP Police, UP DGP, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the CM Office.
Keshav Kumar, DCP of South Zone, told TOI that the complaint was received at the Sushant Golf City police station, and an FIR is being registered. “We will probe the case and also rope in the cyber cell,” the DCP stated, emphasizing a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
The Bishnoi gang, known for its high-profile criminal activities, has been associated with several threatening incidents in the past. The gang has previously claimed responsibility for the shooting outside actor Salman Khan‘s house in Mumbai’s Bandra in April this year. It also claimed responsibility for the murder of a 66-year-old Muslim politician, Baba Siddique, in Mumbai’s posh Bandra area.
