National Award-winning choreographer Jani Master booked for raping colleague | Hyderabad News – Times of India

HYDERABAD: Jani Master, who recently won the National Award for Best Choreographer, was booked by Cyberabad Police for allegedly raping his colleague.
The case was first registered at Raidurgam police station following a complaint from the 21-year-old dancer and later transferred to Narsingi police station on the point of jurisdiction.
Police said the woman had been working with Jani Master for the past few years and also accompanied him for shoots at different locations across the country.
In the process, he sexually assaulted her by force and threatened her with dire consequences if she revealed it to others.
G Hari Krishna Reddy, Station House Officer Narsingi, told TOI that they have registered a case against Jani Master under relevant sections of the BNS on Sunday night and started an investigation.
