But one of the most intriguing moments was when the legendary Goldberg almost squared off against the World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER. Did Triple H Tease a Golderg vs GUNTHER Feud? WWE CCO Addresses the Segment
While addressing the media after the Bad Blood PLE, Triple H addressed the Goldberg segment and the possibility of him returning to the WWE . HHH said that the HOFer was not happy with GUNTHER and he also saw a certain spark in Goldberg’s eyes.
“As you said, Atlanta loves Bill Goldberg and that’s why he was here tonight. He was with his wife and son, always going to get a huge reaction here enjoying the show. Things get said. I can tell you when Bill came back he was not too happy with GUNTHER and we’ll see. We’ll see.
“You know, the further you go… time catches up with all of us, right? And so the further you go those talks get further and further away from reality. But I don’t know, I saw Bill earlier in the day and it was great. And I saw Bill later in the day and there was a different look on his face and a spark in his eye. So I would say ‘never say never’,” Triple H said.

The moment took place when Triple H made a Crown Jewel-related announcement at Bad Blood. GUNTHER entered and started talking trash about Bill Goldberg, who was seated ringside for the PLE. The Hall of Famer did not like some of GUNTHER’s comments, which led to him crossing the barricade and almost coming face-to-face with the champion. Security had to intervene, and Triple H raised his hand to end the segment. It added a lot of intrigue on Goldberg’s possible return and him having his retirement match in the WWE .
