The Board of Control for Cricket in India have announced a 15-man squad for the four-match T20I series against South Africa. The series will take place ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, and India’s young guns will be in action against the Proteas Men. The four-match series will commence on November 8th, 2024, in Durban. The Final T20I will take place on November 15th at Johannesburg.

The BCCI also offered details on the omission of three Indian cricketers. Pacer Mayank Yadav and all-rounder Shivam Dube were unavailable for selection owing to injuries, while dynamic all-rounder Riyan Parag is currently undergoing checks for a long term resolution of his chronic right shoulder injury. Therefore, he was deemed unavailable for selection as well.
