Manchester City seemed to be bracing itself for departure of one of their most important players in their success over the last decade after rumours swirled that the player was close to agreeing move to Saudi Pro League club.
However, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has come out and silenced all the rumours as he clarified that their star player is going nowhere.
Pep Guardiola clarifies Manchester City star’s future
Manchester City‘s star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has undoubtedly been one of the best midfielders in Europe for the last decade and certainly the sky blue outfits’ most important player behind success.
However, towards the end of last season Kevin De Bruyne had come out and said that he might be looking for a new challenge and given the amount of salaries offered in Saudi Arablia he was open to a move.
With recent rumours arriving that Kevin De Bruyne had accepted a move to Saudi Arabia, Pep Guardiola took it upon himself to shut down the rumours.
Pep Guardiola simply came out and confirmed that Kevin De Bruyne wasn’t leaving Manchester City.
“No, Kevin is not leaving,” Pep Guardiola gave a straight forward response to shut down rumours around Belgian Captain.

Kevin De Bruyne’s contract at Manchester City is supposed to expire in 2025 and with Pep Guardiola also leaving in summer 2025, the Belgian could well be looking to leave on free next summer.

Ederson nears exit door
While, Kevin De Bruyne is staying, Manchester City‘s star goalkeeper Ederson is said to be nearing his exit from the club,
It has been reported that the Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson has agreed terms with Al Ittihad and if Manchester City and the Saudi Pro League side are able to accept a fee then Ederson will depart the club.
