PATNA: A doctor and his two staff members were arrested on Thursday for allegedly attempting to rape a nurse at a private clinic in the Musrigharari police station area of Samastipur.
The nurse, displaying courage, mutilated the doctor’s private part with a blade and escaped.
Sadar SDPO-1, Sanjay Kumar Pandey, said, “The incident took place at a physiotherapy clinic.The doctor and his two accomplices were under the influence of liquor. They tried to overpower the 25-year-old nurse, but she defended herself. In a moment of fear, she used a blade, locked the clinic from outside, and fled. She later contacted the police for help.”
