Manu Bhaker also made history on Sunday by becoming the first Indian woman to win a medal in shooting at the Olympics. She secured a bronze medal in the women’s 10m air pistol event with a score of 221.7, bringing India’s first medal in the ongoing mega event.
South Korea’s Ye Jin clinched the gold medal in the same event with an Olympic record of 243.2 points, while her compatriot, Kim Yeji, took the silver with a score of 241.3 points.
