Pat Cummins and Corey Anderson Avoid Run-Out in Comical Mix-Up During MINY vs SFU MLC 2024-WATCH

Three runs in a dramatic T20 contest at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium helped San Francisco Unicorns triumph against MI New York. Corey Anderson of San Francisco Unicorns was the match’s top player; he scored an undefeated 59 runs off of 37 balls in an amazing inning. Though Dewald Brevis scored a remarkable 56 runs off 36 balls, MI New York fell short, scoring 145/7 in 20 overs unable to chase down San Francisco’s 148/7. San Francisco’s victory owed much to Corey Anderson’s batting and Nosthush Kenjige’s bowling.

Pat Cummins and Corey Anderson were involved in a COMIC blunder during San Francisco Unicorns vs MI New York in the MLC

Pat Cummins and Corey Anderson of San Francisco Unicorns had a funny mix-up during their Major League Cricket (MLC) game against MI New York at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas on Thursday, July 18. Both players headed towards the same end at first, but they avoided a run-out.

Cummins aimed a shot towards point off Romario Shepherd’s delivery in the eighteenth over of San Francisco’s innings. Anderson, however, was caught ball-watching, therefore both players ended up in the same end.

Corey Anderson displayed exceptional leadership skills by scoring 59 runs off 37 deliveries, while Hassan Khan made a valuable contribution of 44 runs off 35 balls. As a result, the San Francisco Unicorns achieved a commendable total of 148 runs in their allotted 20 overs. San Francisco triumphed spectacularly, securing a win with a three-run advantage.

Despite not taking any wickets, Pat Cummins made a valuable contribution with a score of 13 off 12 deliveries and bowled efficiently, giving up only 27 runs in his four overs. The Unicorns successfully secured victory in a thrilling and tense conclusion.

The upcoming match for the San Francisco Unicorns is against the Seattle Orcas on July 21, while MI New York will be competing against the Los Angeles Knight Riders on July 22.
