Probe Kullu student death, HC tells CBI | India News – Times of India

Terming a police probe into a student’s mysterious death in Kullu in Dec last year “biased”, Himachal Pradesh HC on Thursday transferred the investigation to CBI.
Vaibhav Yadav and three of his friends, all four from Haryana, visited Kullu’s Tosh village on Dec 9, 2023. Yadav died on the same evening. The postmortem report said, “The deceased died due to gross subarachnoid haemorrhage secondary to the blunt trauma sustained to the head region. The injuries suffered on the body were consistent with the fall from height. Cannabinoids were detected in the chemical examination of samples preserved as per reports received from RFSL Mandi.”
