NEW DELHI: Rajmahal assembly constituency is one of the 81 assembly constituencies in Jharkhand state. It is a General category assembly seat situated in Sahebganj district. It is one of the six assembly segments of the Rajmahal (ST) Parliament Seat.

The Election Commission announced that vote counting will begin on November 23, at 8.00 am.
Key candidates contesting are Md Tajuddin from the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Anant Kumar Ojha representing the Bharatiya Janata Party.

In the 2019 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election, Anant Kumar Ojha of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) retained the Rajmahal seat with 88,904 votes. His closest rival was Mohammad Tajuddin of the AJSU Party, who secured 76,532 votes, followed by Ketabuddin Sheikh of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) with 24,619 votes.
In the 2014 Assembly election, Anant Kumar Ojha, also representing BJP, won the seat with 77,481 votes. Mo Tajuddin from JMM closely followed with 76,779 votes, while independent candidate Bajrangi Prasad Yadav garnered 18,866 votes.
According to the 2011 Census of India, Rajmahal has a population of 22,514, with males accounting for 52% (11,755) and females 48% (10,730).
