Reliance, Nvidia partner for AI infrastructure
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, in a fireside chat with Reliance Industries Limited chairman Mukesh Ambani at the Nvidia AI Summit 2024 in Mumbai, said the companies will partner to build AI infrastructure in the country.
“As you know, in order to lead an artificial intelligence, you need to have AI model technology that India has. You need to have data, massive quantities of data. The last thing you need is AI infrastructure. And we’re announcing that Reliance and Nvidia are partnering to build AI infrastructure here in India,” Huang said.
TCS launches dedicated business unit to focus in Nvidia technologies
TCS and Nvidia have deepened their partnership to accelerate AI adoption across industries with the largest IT services company in India launching a dedicated business unit focused on Nvidia technologies. The company will leverage their combined expertise and resources to offer tailored AI solutions.
Key highlights of the TCS-Nvidia partnership include investments in the Nvidia AI platform (including Nvidia AI Enterprise and Nvidia Omniverse) for tailored solutions, deploy AI solutions such as including Nvidia NIM microservices and Nvidia NIM Agent Blueprints as well as use in manufacturing, BFSI, retail, telecom and automotive.
Infosys launches AI models built on Nvidia AI stack
Infosys has launched two small language models – Infosys Topaz BankingSLM and Infosys Topaz ITOpsSLM – that have been built using the Nvidia AI Stack. The company said that Nvidia AI and Infosys Topaz will provide a foundation for implementing and scaling enterprise AI.
The AI models utilise general and industry-specific data, which is enhanced by Nvidia’s AI Enterprise and Nvidia AI Foundry in collaboration with Sarvam AI.
Wipro, Nvidia to use AI in healthcare
Wipro is also partnering with Nvidia to accelerate AI adoption across various industries, including healthcare, communications, and financial services. By leveraging Nvidia’s AI Enterprise platform and tools like NIM Agent Blueprints, Wipro aims to help clients quickly develop and implement AI solutions.
Wipro will use Nvidia AI Enterprise and tools like NIM Agent Blueprints to simplify and accelerate the creation of AI applications. The IT major is developing tailored AI solutions for various sectors, including healthcare, communications, and financial services.
Tech Mahindra first to utilise AI model based on Hindi dialects
Tech Mahindra has launched an AI Center of Excellence powered by Nvidia platforms to advance large language models, agentic AI, and physical AI. The centre will utilise the Nvidia AI Enterprise software platform, including tools like NeMo, NIM microservices, and Rapids, to deliver customised AI solutions.
Nvidia’s model is called Nemotron-4-Mini-Hindi-4B and it can be easily deployed on any Nvidia GPU-accelerated system for optimised performance. One of the key projects within this initiative is Project Indus 2.0, an advanced AI model based on Hindi dialects.
Ola Digital Twin platform
Ola Electric has launched Ola Digital Twin platform powered by Nvidia Omniverse that will integrate Krutrim AI, Nvidia Omniverse APIs, and various simulation tools to create comprehensive digital replicas of Ola’s manufacturing facilities. This allows Ola to optimise factory layouts, streamline product development, and build AI-powered quality inspection systems.
