Sadhguru discusses scaling up enterprise at 13th edition of INSIGHT at Isha Yoga Center | India News – Times of India

On the first day of the 13th edition of INSIGHT hosted by Sadhguru Academy at Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore: The DNA of Success, Dr S Somanath, Chairman of ISRO, discussed the role of organizational leadership in driving individual and institutional growth.
He attributed ISRO’s success to the leadership of its past chiefs, including Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, who shaped a culture of innovation and fearlessness. Dr Somanath said, “He was working on all the people who actually built those rockets. He believed people have great strength and using that strength you can actually build anything that you want.”

Dr Somanath reflected on ISRO’s journey from struggling for funding to becoming one of the most respected space agencies globally, with missions delivered on bootstrapped budgets.
Key Resource Leader Dipali Goenka, CEO & MD of Welspun Living Ltd., shared her entrepreneurial journey in a conversation with program facilitator B S Nagesh. Goenka, recognised by Forbes as the 16th Most Powerful Woman in Asia, spoke about increasing women’s participation in business.

“When I came into Welspun, there were just 7% women. Today, I’m proud to say there are around 30% women,” she said, referencing her company’s 15,000-strong workforce. She also emphasized the importance of the journey in entrepreneurship, saying, “I always tell everybody that when you start something, don’t only look for success, enjoy that journey because it’s all about that journey we are going to learn and you’re not going to always succeed in something, you’re going to learn in that process and evolve in that process.”

Sadhguru, joining the session online, spoke about India’s transformation from a manufacturing hub to a country of entrepreneurs.
He said, “Bharat was once the largest manufacturing nation on the planet. But 250 years of occupation turned us into desperate people seeking a clerical job in Her Majesty’s service. Fortunately, this generation is dropping that mentality. We have over 100 million entrepreneurs – the highest in the world. What is needed now is our nation’s enterprise must scale up. This is why INSIGHT.”
The day’s program also featured an Indian classical dance performance by students of Isha Samskriti.
The DNA of Success is a four-day residential program hosted annually by Sadhguru Academy, aimed at entrepreneurs and business leaders. The program focuses on the science of scaling businesses while enhancing leadership qualities.
