Several workers feared trapped as under-construction lintel collapses in UP’s Kannauj | Lucknow News – Times of India

LUCKNOW: An incident occurred at a railway station in Kannauj when an under-construction lintel collapsed, trapping several workers under the debris.
The workers were engaged in beautification work at the station when the mishap took place. So far, 11 people have been rescued, with two in critical condition.
Emergency teams, including police and administration personnel, are actively involved in ongoing rescue operations.
Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognisance of the incident.
He directed officials to reach the site immediately and expedite relief efforts. The CM also instructed that proper medical treatment be provided to the injured and wished for their speedy recovery.
